Read it to the king.
Royal secretary to King Josiah. I was sent to check on the temple repairs and came back with a book.
JerusalemFirst seen 2 Kings 22:3
Went to the temple about the repair money. Hilkiah the high priest handed me a book. Found it in the house of the LORD, he said. The Book of the Law. Reported back to the king: the money has all been paid out to the workmen. Then: oh, and Hilkiah gave me a book. I read it to him.
Replying to @hilkiah
Took it to the king. Reported that the work is proceeding well, and that Hilkiah had given me a book. Read it to him. He tore his clothes.
