Night shift with the sheep. Then an angel, and the Lord's glory all round us. Terrified. A Saviour's been born in Bethlehem today, he says. The Messiah. Lying in a manger. Then the sky's full of angels praising God. So we ran.

We went and saw.
We look after sheep in the fields outside Bethlehem. Night shift. Nobody expects anything to happen on the night shift.

Back out with the sheep now. We can't stop praising God. Everything was exactly the way the angel told us.
Then the whole sky is full of angels. More than you could count. All of them praising God. Glory to God in the highest. And peace on earth to the people he’s pleased with.
We’re telling everyone we can find. What the angel told us about this baby. A Saviour. The Messiah. The Lord. Born tonight, here, in a manger.
