They called me the Great Power.
I did magic in a city in Samaria for years. People said I was the power of God, the Great Power. Then Philip turned up, and his signs were real. I believed and got baptised. Then I tried to buy something that can’t be bought.

I was the big name in Samaria. Magic. People called me the Great Power of God. Then Philip came, and I believed and was baptised too. When the apostles came and I saw the Spirit given as they put their hands on people, I offered them money. I wanted to be able to do that.
