I work for the king. I keep my head down.
I serve in King Herod’s palace in Jerusalem. I carry messages, I stand at doors, and I see who goes in to see the king.

The king received the star-watchers today. In private. He wished to know the exact date the star first appeared. Very particular about that.

Then he sent them on to Bethlehem. Told them to search carefully for the child, and when they find him, come back and tell him where, so he can go and worship him too.

I just open the doors.
The star-watchers never came back to the king. Word is they’ve gone home by another road.
