A woman of Abel-beth-maacah, a town in the far north that was known for wise counsel. When Joab’s army came to batter down our wall, I asked to speak to him.

Called down from the wall for Joab. Asked him why he’s trying to destroy one of Israel’s great old cities. He said hand over Sheba and he’d go. In the end, Joab blew the horn and went home.
