Told it we could eat from any tree except the one in the middle. It said we wouldn’t die. It said we’d be like God.

Mother of everyone.
Made by God from Adam’s side and brought to him. I listened to the serpent, ate the fruit, and gave some to Adam. Adam named me Eve, because I’d be the mother of everyone who lives. I’m the mother of Cain, Abel and Seth.

It looked good. It was beautiful. I wanted to be wise. So I ate some, and gave some to Adam. He was right there with me.

And I said the serpent tricked me. It did. I still ate it.
Adam called me Eve. It means living, because I’d be the mother of everyone alive. And before we left, God made us clothes out of skins and dressed us himself.
It’s a boy! With the LORD’s help I’ve brought a man into the world. Cain. Then another boy, Abel.
Another son. Seth. God has given me another child in place of Abel, because Cain killed him.
