We have come up from Jerusalem with one simple question. Why do his disciples not wash their hands before they eat? It is the tradition of the elders.

A Pharisee from Jerusalem. We came all the way north with some teachers of the law to see this Galilean for ourselves, and the first thing we noticed was his disciples’ hands.
