Poured it all out.
I came into Simon’s house in Bethany with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume and poured it over Jesus’ head. Some of his disciples called it a waste. He called it beautiful. Matthew doesn’t give my name; John’s Gospel tells of Mary of Bethany anointing him at Bethany.
