Normal day. Throwing a net with Simon. He walks up and says “Follow me,” and he’ll make us fishers of people. We left the net where it was. Just like that.

Found him. Went and got my brother.
Fisherman from Bethsaida. I used to follow John the Baptist. Then he pointed at Jesus and said, ’Look, the Lamb of God,’ and I followed Jesus instead. The first thing I did was go and get my brother Simon.

Heard John say that, so two of us who follow John went after Jesus. He turned round and asked what we wanted. We asked where he was staying. Come and see, he said. So we did. About four in the afternoon, and we stayed the rest of the day.
Jesus is walking this way right now. Look. The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.Replying to @johnzebedee
In my defence, I did say “what's that among so many?”

Also: people haven’t stopped coming and going all day. None of us has had a chance to eat. Starving.
Found a boy here with five barley loaves and two small fish. That’s the lot. What’s that among this many?

He said bring them to him.
“What’s that among so many?” I said that. Out loud. Today.

Simon. What are you doing.

You walked on water, though. For a bit.

Only one of us got out of the boat, though.
