Serious about God’s law. Very.
We take God’s law seriously: the Sabbath, fasting, washing, tithing, who you eat with. We’ve built careful rules around it so nobody comes close to breaking it. This teacher from Nazareth keeps stepping over our rules, and we have questions.

Are you from Galilee too, Nicodemus? Look it up. No prophet comes out of Galilee.
We are getting nowhere. Look at this. The whole world has gone after him.
Word's gone round the festival crowd that he's on his way into Jerusalem. We grabbed palm branches and went out to meet him. Hosanna! God bless the one who comes in the Lord's name, the King of Israel!Went to Pilate with the chief priests. Governor, we recall that deceiver saying he would rise after three days. We ask that the tomb be made secure until the third day, or his disciples may steal the body and tell everyone he has risen.
The Son of Man is going to be handed over and killed. And three days after he’s killed, he will rise.
