Hold up. Isn’t that the man who sits begging at the Beautiful Gate? Every single day? He’s walking round the temple praising God.

Goes up to pray most afternoons.
Go up to the temple most afternoons for the three o'clock prayers. Walk past the same faces at the gate every day.
First seen Acts 3:10

And the apostles keep doing wonders and signs. Everyone’s a bit in awe.

I walk past him every afternoon.
There’s a man walking round the temple courts, jumping, praising God at the top of his voice. Isn’t that the man who sits begging at the Beautiful Gate?

He won’t let go of the two men who did it. Hanging on to both of them. And now the whole crowd’s running over to Solomon’s Colonnade, the long covered walkway along the courts, to see.

The believers all meet in Solomon’s Colonnade now. Everyone thinks the world of them, but nobody else dares just wander in and join. And somehow more and more believe anyway, men and women, all the time.

Er. The men you locked up? They’re standing in the temple courts. Teaching.
