King of Persia and Media, ruling from the citadel of Susa. Also known by his Hebrew name, Ahasuerus. I like a feast, I like good advice, and I like to act on it quickly. My ring seals the law, and a law sealed with my ring can’t be undone.

This man saved my life, and nobody did a thing for him.
A royal servant at the king’s gate@servant.kingsgate · The king's gate, SusaTwo of the king's doorkeepers, Bigthan and Teresh, were plotting to kill the king. Word is Mordecai, who sits here at the gate, found out. He told the queen, and she told the king it came from Mordecai.Replying to @queenesther
What's written in the king's name and sealed with the king's ring can't be undone. So I've told Queen Esther and Mordecai: write another one about the Jews, whatever you think best, in my name, and seal it with my ring.
Asked the queen what she wants. Anything. Up to half the kingdom.

What honour did this man get for it? What was done for him?
A decree written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s ring can’t be undone. So I’ve told Queen Esther and Mordecai: write another one about the Jews, whatever you think best, in my name. Seal it with my ring.
