The shepherds came in from the fields and told us the whole thing. Still can't get over it.

The shepherds told us.
I live in Bethlehem. The census has the town packed out. Then a group of shepherds came in from the fields in the middle of the night with a story I still can't get over.

Bethlehem has never been this full. Literally everyone whose family comes from here is back to register. Every guest room in town is taken.

Shepherds banging on doors at this hour, going on about angels. And lowkey I can’t stop thinking about it.

Visitors from the east, in our little town, down on their knees in front of a child. I’ve lived here all my life. Never seen anything like it.

That’s the family the shepherds were on about. The baby from the manger.
The couple with the little boy, the one the visitors came to see. Their house is empty. They left in the night.
