Then he told him to get up, take his mat and go home. And he did. Watched him walk out with it. The whole room was praising God. Proper scenes.

Never seen anything like it.
I live in Capernaum and go to the synagogue there. I heard him teach the first Sabbath he came, and I was squeezed into the house the day four men took the roof apart.

The whole area is talking about nothing else.
Synagogue, Sabbath. He teaches like he actually has authority, nothing like the teachers of the law. Then a man with an evil spirit starts shouting that he knows who Jesus is. Jesus tells it to be quiet and get out. It goes.

Honestly, it’s all over Galilee already.

I was literally there. Never seen anything like it.

Heard. And the teacher from Nazareth, the one John baptised, has moved here. To Capernaum.

The time has come. God’s kingdom is close. Turn back to God and believe the good news. He says it everywhere he goes.

No offence. But you know what he means. Everyone felt it.
A man’s just started shouting in the middle of the synagogue. It’s an evil spirit. It’s yelling at Jesus, asking what he wants with them. Has he come to destroy them?

He’s told it to be quiet and come out. That’s all. Be quiet. Come out.

We brought ours. Everyone did. Every kind of illness you can think of.
Evil spirits coming out of people, shouting that he’s the Son of God. He tells them off and won’t let them say another word.

We only just got him.
Squeezed into the house where he’s teaching. There is no room. None. People are standing outside the door as well.

There’s a hole. There’s daylight. There are faces looking down.

He said his sins are forgiven.

No. He’s still lying there. That’s all he said.

He’s just turned to them and asked why they’re thinking these things. None of them had said anything.
Replying to @capernaum.synagogue
So you know the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, he says. Then he turns back to the man on the mat.

Everyone’s praising God. Everyone. Inside and out.
